Excel yourself by taking part in one of the most ambitious long-distance races in the world. Starting from Geneva, the course of the Hyposwiss Private Bank Tour du Léman extends over 160 non-stop kilometres, running along the Swiss shore of lake Geneva as far as Le Bouveret passing the towns of Lausanne and Montreux. The return leg follows the French shore skirting the towns of Evian and Thonon. A formidable sporting challenge, the race attracts the cream of long-distance rowing and brings together competitors from all over Europe as well as the US. Apart from the sheer physical performance, the teams have their cohesion as a unit and their very team spirit tested in order to maintain the pace for between twelve and sixteen hours in a row.A competition which is not to be missed for anything, all the more so as it takes place in Geneva, a cosmopolitan and multi-cultural town - an ideal place to spend an extended break. The competition is organised by the Société Nautique de Genève, the most important nautical club in Switzerland and holders of the legendary America’s Cup.
